Here are a couple stories we didn’t have time to write about this week — what with all the bin Laden stuff going on.

On another note, I’d like to personally thank Kit Up! readers for their support this week. We had an absolutely huge week and more than tripled our usual daily traffic on Monday with all the bin Laden gouge.

Milspec Monkey (The maniacs at MilSpecMonkey throw some bananas into a new tactical pack) and MM are not military, never have been. So why should I take their advice on kit? Like getting MRAP advice from a Ford dealer.

I've got the CAA ML556 loader and it is a fantastic tool for loading/unloading 30s with loose rounds.

That gerber tool is crap, they missed the one part that you have to get right. The die heads on the RJ45 crimper angle in instead of being levered so they go in straight. And it'll likely cost 3 times what a good tool does.

Memories of sleeping on a (C-)130, but how does sleep so well with the lights on? But those of you that do need the rest you deserve when you can get it. Be safe and come home.
