We had some reporting that the EOD dog sent into the bin Laden compound was most likely a Belgian Malinoisand wanted to tip off our Kit Up! readers to a piece our multimedia czar Glenn Anderson did on the bomb sniffer dogs of the DOG (Deployable Operations Group) -- specifically the Maritime Security Response Team.
We spent some time with them back in February and this profile of one of their dogs seems particularly apt given recent events.
