One of the lesser known, but no less important foreign SOF units out there is New Zealand's Special Air Service. When Brandon brought up some other international units I remembered that there is a great documentary about NZSAS. I've never worked with them personally, but my source on these guys says that they are all super polite, no-ego, no-BS, just down to earth, get the job done type soldiers. While this documentary was filmed a little earlier in the war, the below news clip gives you an idea of what they are up to today. This Taliban attack on the Kabul Intercontinental hotel is when many of us first became aware of NZSAS in country, having a reported 35 operators in Afghanistan who are mentoring Afghani security forces.
