MagPul introduced their new line of shotgun stocks and forends at SHOT. I got the chance to take a look, and it’s definitely a nice option for shotguns. They’re releasing the SGA Stock for the Remington 870 in the spring, along with the MOE Forend.
The stock has a nice spacer system to adjust the length of the stock, optional cheek risers, a great feeling grip, and is compatible with various sling options. The forend can be used with all of the MOE accessories. Shotgun accessories were definitely the trend at this year’s SHOT, and of course, MagPul was in the mix.

I love MagPul and their products i use many of them for my weapons(ar platform),from mags to the trigger guard also the bad lever and the PRS which is awesome. As far as this stock goes i don’t know yet i will have to check it out when i see friends at the range who have one.Rightnow i have the Knox specop stock(folder) which lets you shoot 3″ mag shells all day with no shoulder pain what so ever. MagPul in my book is one of the best and i am very sorry that the clowns at bushmaster/remington ruined the Masada. I thought the original design was allot better then what those clowns turn it into,To heavy to pricey to many failures when operating. This does’t change my mind about Magpul one of the best in the business and if they are reading this? thanks for having great products!!!!!.
be happy that they alway released the acr, if it was not the case everyone would call it a vaporwares just like when doe’snt released a product from what their consumer expect, it not unusual that now they don’t say **** about their future product and i can only blame people like you for have doing that.
you have your opinions bro and i have mine,my point should of been explained better this is my fault sorry.I should of wrote that they made a bad choice in letting bushmaster/remigton redesign the Masada. There are much more better companies out there that would of kept the original design(or very close to it).But with remington you get the guys on the board in their ties who say they can save this and that and before you know it you have the ACR a failure by far.Remington was planning and expecting this hunk of junk to replace the M4?.What a joke on them.MagPul had the right design in the first place and they should of left it alone.Oh don’t forget about the many recalls the ACR had also.MagPul is an outstanding company that puts out great products. This is my opinion like it or not?.
Meh
I have been very happy with the rapid development and innovation of new equipment in the last decade. However I have to say that I am even happier that it’s winding down. As Brandon pointed out the weak companies will die out do to competition with other small companies and the growing surplus market. The companies that survive will quickly start to see the economy of scale as their market share grows. This will drive down costs for them, which will drive down market prices and drive up quality as they continue to try to out compete those left in the market. What this means for us in the long run is quit simply quality equipment at cheaper prices from significantly more stable companies.
I think you missed the post you wanted? Brandons 2012 forecast is what you wanted. This is the Magpul shotgun stock and forend. If i am wrong sorry but it seemed your comment was out of place in the Magpul article and more in place with the 2012 forecast.
I see now you posted in both articles with the same comments my bad?.
Any word if Magpul plans on making stocks & forends for Mossberg 500′s?
Let’s hope so
