Actually, I was going to write about the Rogue American Apparel MOSHPIT shirt, because the proceeds go to the Brothers in Arms
foundation (you may have already seen shirts like this recently if you’re an MAA fan). However, their Bushido tee, dedicated to a “moral code that stresses frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery and honor unto death often found in warrior culture and those who make a living protecting others” is pretty damn cool. So I figured I’d open up with that, since they just announced it’s about to be available.
However, you should definitely check out the MOSHPIT (the call-sign of a badly wounded recon Marine) shirt. 100% of the proceeds and portions of the proceeds from other designs, go to the Brothers in Arms foundation. They raised over a thousand dollars for Brothers in Arms their first month in operation. I haven’t ordered my Bushido shirt yet, but I’ll certainly be getting one (and maybe one of the IZZY ALL DAY tees too). The guys behind Rogue American Apparel are all prior service, some of them still serving in the industry in various capacities, and they’re passionate about what they do. If you get the chance, check ‘em out now before the news we start giving you from SHOT eats up all your spare change.

can’t find the bushido shirt on their site.

Greetings ~
Personally ~ its a cool shirt, design is great, and I like the concept behind it – however – maybe I’m in a minority concerning this….
But, I like Graphic T-Shirts with a (small) ICON/Logo on the left breast (or) with a small image/icon on the front centre – with a full large image on the back of the shirt.
To me it just looks more impressive that way…
Just my 000.02 cents worth
@ Marcello, “Bushido” will be available soon. @Chen, you are a tool (your comments are as false as you are). All of of Our Tees are AMERICAN MADE, custom ordered and of superior quality and design. We are proud supporters of Brothers In Arms Foundation and give a portion of profit from each Tee sold to their great cause. Our “MOSHPIT” Tee (Call sign of a severely wounded MARSOC Marine Hero) Is one of our personal favorites and we give 100 percent profit from this Tee to BIAF for a Home build project to this wounded Hero. Our Tees embrace the “Warrior Ethos” Values, Culture, History of Integrity and Honor respectful to those who wear RAA. These are not for everyone and we purposely have decided not to have them in the many retail request (STORES) we get as we prefer Quality over Quantity and not flooding the PX’s and Streets like “Tap Out” of the others. We have had incredible support from incredible people like ~Paul Howe~ of CSAT and ~Ken Shamrock~ from the Lions Den. We want to thank all of are awesome fans and supporters of the finest AMERICAN tees out there. Thanks for supporting Small American Business and Brothers in Arms Foundation. ~RAA~

I have to chime in here. First off, the guys at RAA are solid dudes, former Marines I might add. Second, the Moshpit shirt is a bit personal for me. The guy that the proceeds are helping out is a buddy of mine. We were ropes together back in the day at Recon Bn. So, I think it’s pretty cool that companies and organizations are rallying to help a brother in need.
This is a Veteran Owned company producing Made in the USA products and supporting an incredible charity. If you don’t like the designs, don’t wear their stuff. But me personally, I’ll give my support to some honest vets trying to grow a business.
Rock on Rogue!
I have to chime is as well. I really like their stuff, I got a few of them from my Wife for Christmas. These are nothing like the Ed hardy, Tap Out, deffliction, chines made junk, These have to be the most comfortable T shirts I have ever worn and I think the designs are great as well, much more unique. Made in the USA, and they give back to great organizations. I’m all about it. Keep up the great work Rogue!
RAA kicks ***. Awesome stuff!
Great guys, great business with strong values and integrity and they make killer Tees. I’m all about supporting them. Just made an order. Go Rogue American!
Solid guy, solid American business. I have a few of their Tees as well, nothing like them. Ed hardy? Not even close! Keep on keeping it real Rogue!
The only Tee I would actually wear. The designs are all subtle enough yet have attitude to upset a liberal. I really like everything they are about and think someone is D-bag when they bash cool small American business, especially when they are vet owned and they give back to, and support wounded soldiers. Rogue, my Team will be placing orders. Thanks for supporting wounded American Heroes and making something that actually represents. Best
Got some for XMass as well, by far my favorite Tee’s fit and feel incredible and designs are out f ing standing. Can’t wait to get a few more. RA, **** yes!
Love Rogue American! super soft and lightweight feel and they look hot on my man! I Need to get a few of the ladies tees for myself. Awesome website! Kiss for Rogue
Here’s the thing about the Samurai culture some of your readers have picked up. I’ve been studying this culture among Japanese folks for years. Basically, their young people are sick of it for the most part. It’s the elders who keep up the respect. Being a samurai is some serious ****. I began getting serious about it in 1997, by 1999 I realized people looked at me and took it seriously. By 2000 I realized Asian women looked at me and took it very, very seriously. Some Asians felt they needed to save face where I was concerned because the word was out, “he’s serious”. So listen up. Do what your following wants and shrink those iconographic text on the Tee. All you folk out there, if you really serious about being a real American Samurai, you’d better get yourself a cover name, and story, no I am not gaming you. If you really get identified as a serious person you will probably be fingered and checked out, this is not a game. And I might add learn how to really buy an excellent sword and use it. Go to Bugei.com for a real American made weapon, plus links to special ops training. Also you must remember Samurai were paid warriors hired to protect their lords. When the lords died or got killed, they became ronin, not a very desirable thing in Japan. Still the warrior training was very, very cool….if you weren’t growing up in America in 2011!!! Get real. To really make this you’re calling card you need to become a shadow warrior…aka Ninja…like the Seals and other secret ops government factos you’re are just a ‘wanna suck’ be!!! Hooya!!

Only a few folks in the world will really understand what you’re getting at, and some of them are some of the most serious folks on the planet. Get yourself an alias and stick with it. Get serious about dishing out injury in hand-to-hand combat, no kidding. If you really get identified as a serious person you will probably be fingered and checked out, this samurai ****, and the further east you travel on the globe the more serious the game gets. If you’re thinking about Japanese sword use, be serious. It will cost a fortune to pay for kendo classes and body armour, but hey you wanna be a samurai, right. Go to Bugei.com for a real American made weapon, plus links to special ops training (for those who haven’t had it). Also you must remember Samurai were paid warriors hired to protect their lords. When the lords died or got killed, they became Ronin, not a very desirable thing in Japan. They had no income or operations to prove their value or worth once their employer croked. Now the Ninja’s were an entirely different situation. They were the “intel” social class of Japan. And unlike Samurai they continue to be operational by the government until W.W.II as spies and assassins. They were a very political group of people, unlike the Samurai class. The ninjas were so politically adept that they’d examine the changes in the wind politically for the government and side with the ones most likely to succeed because trying to be heroes might have had all of them slaughtered. The samurais became irrelevant because they could not compete with industrial weaponry. The ninjas survived because they “learned how to get along with modernity.” So if your wearing a t-shirt just to be a fan of the samurai culture—cool. All props to you. But if you are a warrior already, you need to lower the profile of those t-shirts because the underground war is on and live even after Osama Bin Lauden. Peace out, Hooya!!!!

I can’t help but laugh at all the “tough guys” who wear all the ed hardy mma diva shirts and ripped jeans. The fact that they’re donating to a worthy cause doesn’t change the fact their apparel is hideous. If American Idol had donated a portion of it’s revenue to starving children around the world, it would still be American Idol…
My Team got our package from RAA on Sat and everyone really liked the Tees, especially Death Card and Angel over Crusder. Absolutely awesome. Fast shipping, incredible service, great guys and very cool gear. Can’t wait to get back to the states to rock this stuff and **** off some Libs. F all these tool bags wannbe’s hiding behind their computers in their moms basements trying to dishonor cool companies that give back. Rogue American is what American is all about. Keep it up gents!
Rogue American makes some killler tees, finally someone who knows what we are all about and get’s back to the American Way of doing things. Quality is top notch, fit and the feel of these thing are the best I’ve seen and the designs are unmatched. F these internet warriors, hiding behind computers and ****** at the world, because they are little **** ants who have been zeros their entire lives and troll the internet talking trash. Rogue rocks!
I wish other businesses would follow their lead. Way to go gents. keep it up. I really like what you all are all about and am looking forward to getting some of these. Great stuff.
Your shift key appears to be malfunctioning
Li,
If you don’t like a product, that’s fine. But taking a huge dump on a company that donates money to important charities beacause you don’t like their marketing isn’t cool. I’m all for calling people out when they make questionable statements, ut perhaps a gentler approach is in order?
Way to support veteran owned business brother. Guess I’ll just buy my Chinese tees at Walmart. I mean, it’s what 5 bucks a shirt?
35 dollars a shirt for American made/owned gear? Where is all that money going-are we seriously paying Americans to make these?
I’m trying to be sarcastic-anything American is going to have a premium. You pay for those people trying to make a living (usually the quality is much higher as well)-and if you got a problem with the price then keep supporting those businesses that don’t support American workers.
1. Frugality: $35.00 ? Where did you get that number? Fail.
2. Loyalty: 100 percent profit of some Tees are donated, 5 to 10 % of others are donated to the foundation. Fail.
3. Mastery of Arts? What are you talking about? Fail
4. Honor: How are we different. Read all of the above. Fail
We make Superior Tees for superior individuals and organizations. If you have problems with our business, it’s simple. Don’t buy them! God Bless America
I agree with dethenigma – I’ve always been the same way. There are a ton of shirts out there that I think are awesome but in the end I just wouldn’t wear them. Too flashy I guess. It sounds silly to everyone else but I’d honestly rather don a plain white or grey t-shirt.
This MOSHPIT shirt however, I would wear.
Funny stuff
We feel the same way. I compliment small American business’s like this and can’t stand those who take the time to actually try and put them down. If you have a problem with them, don’t buy it.
Giovani,
The price is actually $32.00 (Custom cut, 100 % cotton, MADE IN AMERICA)
Printed in Texas.
We do what we can to help wounded American Heroes. Like you said, if you are looking for a cheap Chinese or Pakistani Tee with American flags and Skulls printed on them, go to WALMART.
Like Toby Keith said “I’d pay a little more for a Tag in the back that said MADE IN THE USA”
