During a sandstorm on one of my tours this ******* had set his mortar up almost right outside our compound outside the main base’s wire.

Almost nothing could fly or drive to find him until a huge BOOM shook our radio room.

A Marine AV-8B got out there and dropped a 500-pounder on the guy’s head. From our roof we could see the field he was in burning.
