Medford Knife & Tool's EOD Knife (another, well-deserved look)

Although the Medford Knife & Tool EOD Knife has been out for a while now (debuting back in January) there are still some folks unfamiliar with it. I thought perhaps this morning you might like to take another look at it. The MK&T EOD knife is the official EOD letter for the Marine Corps, designed with input from EOD techs at 29 Palms to meet all the needs of a tech in the field - it can pry, lever, probe, cut, saw, guide wire and of course hammer. To call this knife 'robust' is to damn it with faint praise. This knife is one solid beast.

(Note: there is a newer version of the EOD knife with is lighter by about 3 1/2 ounces, with a slimmer profile and a side hammer pommel of titanium.)

I've talked to Greg (the HMFIC at Medford Knife & Tool) a few times, and believe me he put a lot of thought and effort into making this thing - which is probably why it's being used by EOD techs from all four branches now.

It pains me to have to say this, but based on some of what's been posted in the past let me make it clear: this is a FIXED blade knife, not a folder.
