Teo-NVG OperatorJerry Teo is a combat medic in the Armed Forces Reserve of Singapore. He is also, as you can see, an immensely talented military-centric artist (though to be fair his work is not limited to matters tactical). I stumbled across Mr. Teo’s work quite accidentally when marginally related research on line led me to Hard Corps, his entry into the “24 Hour Comic Challenge 2011.” It is only one of several examples of his response to illustration challenges.

Mr. Teo is based in Singapore. He graduated with honors from the Sheridan Technical and Scientific Illustration Bachelor of Applied Arts program and is now a freelance illustrator and teacher. Prior work includes tours as a concept artist and storyboard illustrator.  You can follow Mr. Teo’s blog here or check out his Facebook page.

A talented artist with applied military experience and equipment familiarity, Jerry knows his stuff and it shows!

Good stuff – I enjoyed the Hard Corps comic. I like to sketch stuff like this as a hobby but my skills are limited to pencil/pen & paper – and I don't have the time to get too serious about it, so I like to look at other people's handiwork!
