WrenTech Industries, LLC is now offering its new Firefly Night Sight Upgrade for its Advantage Tactical Sight system.
The Firefly night sight will swap out with any of Advantage Tactical's standard nylon front sights. Built on the same premise of the original Advantage Tactical Sight system using a vertically aligned pyramid sight picture, the Firefly offers ATS customers a night sight system that will literally outlast the purchaser.
The Firefly front sight inserts are made from the latest in chemical and manufacturing technologies to produce the “brightest and longest glow of any night sight on the market today,” WrenTech officials maintain.
Firefly insert upgrades will glow for many hours with a short exposure to a strong light source, for example: 1 minute of strong sunlight exposure for an 8+ hour glow; positioning the firefly 1” to 2” from a 75 watt lamp for 90 seconds for a 6 hour glow. In addition, when the glow has finally diminished after many hours, just two seconds of a tactical light will bring back the glow for roughly another 90 minutes, officials say.
