LaserLyte introduced a smaller version of the V4 laser that prevents it from snagging or catching when drawing or reholstering a handgun.
The LaserLyte V4 laser, or FSL-4, fits on less than one-inch of a Picatinney rail in front of the trigger guard on any full size handgun, according to a LaserLyte release.
Engineers worked to allow the laser to better blend into the gun and easily mount with a crossbar screw. To activate the laser, users merely need touch it with their finger.
The laser has two modes: constant and pulse mode. You'll obviously get shorter battery life when it's left constantly on. It's 5 hours for constant on and 10 hours for pulse mode.
The body of the laser is 55 percent glass filled nylon to make it tougher.
