Powerful New Headlamps from COAST

COAST Products is demonstrating its new FL headlamp series at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, Utah this week.

“The FL85, FL75 and FL60 are innovative headlamps that feature COAST’s proprietary new design that combines both battery pack and light into one unit on the front of the headband,” according to a recent press release.

The FL85 has a max output of 540 Lumen for about 170 meters and the FL75 produces 405 lumen out to about 140 meters. Both models “feature a combination of COAST’s patented Pure Beam Focusing Optic and Dual Color red and white beams,” the release states.

The FL60 debuts the all-new COAST Wide-Angle Flood Beam which is “ideal for shedding light on up-close work and provides wider illumination than a long distance spot beam,” COAST officials maintain.
The FL60 has a max output of 300 lumen out to 29 meters.

No word on prices yet. Keep checking COAST’s website for details.

Headlamps can be amazingly useful! My nephew gave me one several years ago — it’s surprising how often it’s employed in all sorts of situations & conditions. I wouldn’t want to be without one.
