Skinner Sights, LLC, is coming out with a specialized survival kit for bush pilots and back country enthusiasts.

The Bush Pilot Survival Kit features a customized Chiappa .44 Magnum lever-action rifle that’s designed to separate in half for compact carry.

The kit also includes a RAT-7 Ontario Knife Company Survival knife with a 7.2-inch carbon steel black powder coated blade and Micarta handle. The kit also contains Titan storm and waterproof matches in a sturdy capsule, magnesium fire starter, Ration brand heat and cooking stove with Hexamine fuel tablets, tough “polyester film space blanket” tube tent large enough for two adults, Brunton TruArc 3 flat base scouting compass and 50 feet of nylon utility cord.

The kit comes with a custom, 1,000 denier Cordura padded carry bag with a 500 denier liner. The bag features MOLLE attachment points for the knife sheath, and an easy-open, buckle down closure flap.

“This unique survival kit is the result of spending a lifetime in the extreme outdoors,” according to Andy Larsson, owner of Skinner Sights.

The rifle has a six-round capacity plus one in the chamber, weighs 5.5 pounds and features a 16-inch barrel.

The Bush Pilot Survival Kit will retail for $1,799.
