Though it's probably going to appeal more to competitive shooters than the average doorkicker, HSGI's new cummerbund-like "Battle Belt Bridge" is a made-in-the-USA method of increasing available load-bearing PALS real estate on a battle belt. It is designed to bridge the gap in the front of an HSGI Sure-Grip Padded Belt, something we're told continues to be one of their most popular pieces of kit. It does so by crossing over the front buckle and providing the wearer with an additional six columns of PALS across the waist.
It ships with HSGI clips and side-release buckles so it can be added or dropped quickly. The Battle Belt Bridge works on Sure Grip Belts with front face gaps of up to 2 inches. It is available in MultiCam, Grey, Coyote, Black, Gray, and OD, and retails for $35.
