Streamlight Offers New 1,000 Lumen Tactical Light

LAS VEGAS -- Streamlight Inc., had its newest, 1,000-lumen tactical light on display at SHOT Show 2017.

The Protac HL-X is powered by two CR123 batteries or one rechargeable 18650 battery.

It has “10-tap programming,” which gives you the ability to change the programming, said April Gucciardi, marketing coordinator for Streamlight.

There are three different modes. There is the factory setting of high, strobe, low. It can also be programmed to high only or low, medium, high.

On the 1,000-lumen setting, the Protac HL-X has a run time of 1.25 hours on CR123s and 1.5 hours using 18650 batteries. Medium setting is 400 lumens with a max runtime of 3 hours on CR123s and 3.5 hours on 18650s.

The low setting is 65 lumens which has a max runtime of 20 hours on CR123s and 23 hours on 18650 batteries.

Made from aircraft aluminum, the HL-X is 5.4 inches long and weighs roughly six ounces.

The Streamlight Protac HL-X will be available in March for $135.
