Happy Monday everyone,

Regardless of your Super Bowl team, at least it was a good game, and more importantly, we saw some great Act of Valor commercials.  I think you guys are really going to like this movie. I can tell you that as a former SEAL I’m proud of what Bandito Brothers put together. I’m getting an interview with one of the SEALs later this month, so be on the look out.

We are still streaming some more great SHOT show footage this week so keep an eye out. It’s a SHOT clean up demo shot!

You guys need to also check out Sh*t Navy SEALs Say, it’s funny as Hell and Laura gets all the credit for digging it out of me!

Have a great week and let me know what your favorite Super Bowl commercial was and also what you think about the Sh*t Navy SEALs say post.

Brandon out.

Really looking forward to this movie. Looking at the previews, it looks like they have it right from their uniforms, weapons and gear. (I hate movies that have no clue about our military.) It’s due time that Hollywood came out with another good military movie. Like all of our military, their stories needs to be told so that we don’t forgot the sacrifices that they made and their families have made for our country.

I think the navy seals are great. Aren’t they the only special ops in the military now?
Oh ,yeh the army and marines have a few.

mka-

Come on now….the spot light will fade soon. Much respect to my SOF brothers from all units. We’re all cut from the same cloth right? It’s why our new site SOFREP has ALL branches and is a joint SOF team doing great things! -BW

mka – I just turn it into a drinking game. A shot every time you see the word SEAL in the article and you should be flying HIGH by the end of the third story in Kit Up.

There were four in the four paragraphs above (and three of those paragraphs were one sentence).

Don’t do this everyday. Your liver won’t survive the week.

Brandon – very funny article

Just checked out the “SEALs Says” Post and it’s really hard to read with the dark tint letters on the black background.

All that being said, hilarious! You haven’t lived till you’ve seen my 60yr old, 100lb mother comment “Sucks to be you!”. 24 years of following dad around you tend to pick up some of the lingo.

The tint may be your connection. It’s supposed to be a white screen. -b

My favorite commercial were the ones with that whatever Lima chick from Victoria’s Secret. As for the Sh*t SEALs say post, I thought a few of the items were clever, but for the most part they are words used in the Army too, especially the shut your **** holster line. I heard that one one too many times.

Achilles-

Great points about the other branches. It’s all too funny anyway. Maybe we should turn it into a **** Military Guys say?

Sounds good, but then again you’re going to open up a whole new can of worms. You are correct though, it was a funny post and brought back some memories!

That’s a pic of a M-240G not a M-60 I don know SEALs still have M-60s but thats not a pic of one. But I do love the M-60E3 I guess im with the SEALs in the minority on this.

PS I do know of regular Navy and CG units who have them too.

Brandon, any way we could get this interview to be a streaming Q&A? If not could you take questions for us? SpecificallyI am curious how the process went going back and forth between movie shoots and training.

“Spilt ****” is a new one by me, but as I said on Facebook, my dad says “Sucks to be you,” rather a lot. SOFREP isn’t just informative, its now educational. I have new things to yell at people!

Also, it might be boot, but references to “bagged ***” and “soup sandwiches” were common even after I got out of boot.

Very little new under the sun, I see. Way back in August 1971, as I entered the US Navy, I was advised by a very fierce Chief Petty Officer to “Shut your C*ck-holster, and un-f*ck yourself most ricky-tick, oo I will make you wish your daddy never crawled in with your mommy and f**ked you into this world!” I was impressed. and I un-f**ked myself…most ricky-tick, too!
