Well, Battle Socks is a bit grandiose, but it got your attention. The subject of socks is and important one, at least for those of us who spend a lot of time walking to or from a fight. Swingin’ Dick and Slim just ran an article about a new start-up that may have the answer for socks that break down and give out.
Read the whole story, http://www.breachbangclear.com/site/10-blog/203-ultimate-battle-socks.html, then advise what YOU wear under your boots. What brand? What material? Wool? Synthetic wool? Layered or single pair? Are you a WO that wears white socks just to give the First Sergeant into apoplexy?

Long ago I did have a flirtation with white athletic socks until my SGM convinced me that “white is not a military color”. I was easily convinced. Then it was OD Green Wool socks of which I still have a couple pair and by coincidence wore just last week. About four years ago I bought three pair of 65 percent wool socks from Costco and really like them. I think they are three pair for ten or twelve bucks now. When it gets really nasty I slip on a pair of Rocky Goretex oversocks I have had for years. Wool is wonderful in my book.
100% cotton black Hanes socks, wear them once, throw them out, start each day fresh
Medium socks will surely protect your feet from unexpected scars and pain. This will make your feet comfortable and relax.
