3-Day Dark Gunfighter Class from Talon Defense

Talon Defense runs a number of different “Gunfighter” courses through the year. There’s another one coming up fast (mid-December; 14 – 16, 0900 to 2200) and if I understand correctly there are still a handful of slots left. This particular class will be focused on weapon deployment in confined spaces. You’ll be shooting 500 rounds of handgun and 1,000 rounds of carbine over the course of 3 days, on the Gadsden PD range in Gadsden AL (not too terribly far from the Sock Capitol of the World).

Contact talondefense@gmail.com for information, or check them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/401159493290570/ Course is $300

These are AMAZING courses that are exceptionally well put together! Chase and Curt are great instructors that really take training to another level. The last gunfighter class I attended had a great mix of students, from veteran law enforcement, former military and just regular civilians like my self. The gunfighter classes make you think, I feel that all of the exercises that are done take you out of your comfort zone and leave you wondering what good a square range will ever do for you again. Time and money are in high demand in everyone’s life these days, both spent training with Talon Defense will NOT be wasted!

Stay safe and shoot straight guys.

This is a great class. This class puts you in real world situations and makes you think through scenarios. The gunfighter class is not a class where you will just punch holes in a target, you will figure out what does (and does not) work in real life. In every class that I have attended, people have changed placement of their gear or changed their gear, because what works well on a square range does not always work in real life. If you carry a gun and are around cars the Gunfighter Course is a must.

You will not regret taking the Gunfighter with Chase, Curt, and the rest of the gang. the class keeps a brisk pace and gives you an immense amount of experience that is very rarely seen in the typical range/ training environment. Particularly valuable is the vehicle portion of the class… You’ll be shooting into, out of, over, under, and through an array of vehicles while at the same time seeing how your equipment works for and aagainst you. This is a spectacular class, infant recommend it highly enough.

300.00 is a phenominal price for good training like this.
My hats off to these gents for looking out for the little guys with small pockets.

  • Lane

Is this only for LEO’s or equivalent? Or can the run of the muck prior service guys go as well?

    • Gerry

Lane, I would email Chase at ************@*****.*** and ask him. It is not a basic class, so they want someone that can handle a rifle. It is not restricted to leo’s. Just shoot him an email and I’m sure he’ll be glad to field any questions.

  • FormerSFMedic

John, your comments are ridiculous! Get some more training and increase your knowledge.

BTW, there is ZERO wrong with any of the pics!
