So S&S Precision has this compact little fixed blade they call the Pocket Shiv.
It looks handy, but it might be a bit too small for serious cutting.
“The genesis of the Pocket Shiv was inspired by the crew at S&S, whose daily routine requires almost everyone to have some type of cutting tool,” S&S officials say.
“The overwhelming enthusiasm for the device rapidly transformed and polished the Pocket Shiv into a simple, handy and aesthetically pleasing design.”
The Pocket Shiv features a 440C stainless steel blade and rubber over-molded grip and sheath. The sheath can be mounted to MOLLE or backpack straps.
The blade measures 2.5 inches and the entire package weighs 1.1 ounces.
It costs $30 and comes in black, tan and orange.
